About us

The story of Elan de Chœur starts on December 01, 2017 at a classical music concert that we were attending in favor of people living with disabilities performed by the choir "Les Messagers de Fatima".
These magnificent voices performed a rather varied repertoire that inspired us.
Very quickly, a small team of four people was set up and started planning a music show as one has rarely seen in Kinshasa. We then thought about the scenography, the scene, the atmosphere, but above all the audience to whom we would offer a classical music show. A few months later, we realized this project and held our first show on May 18, 2019.
Elan de Chœur is above all a call to solidarity, charity, and fraternity. This choir reminds us that beyond individual compassion, we can act together by uniting our efforts and voices to sing about humanity and its values which give it back its dignity.

Objective

Our action is mainly focused on two aspects: cultural and charitable. In its cultural aspect, Elan de Chœur participates in any activities related to its musical niche, classical and contemporary music.
As for the philanthropic aspect, this project is to be carried out over a period of three years with the aim of:
- Collecting funds to contribute to the schooling of a hundred children from 6 to 17 years old;
- Supporting the professional training of young people living with HIV aged 18 to 24;
- Promoting classical and contemporary music through a major annual performance.

To achieve our educational objectives for young adults, we have developed a sponsorship program and support for vocational training.

Sponsorship

Through our Non-Profit Organization (NPO), you can choose to support the schooling of one or more children, grouped within the Kalembe Lembe Pediatrics.

Support for vocational training

This program involves young people aged between 18 and 24 years and entails facilitating access to training and / or a professional internship, or a first job.
